Heather is a producer and editor whose work aims to give a voice to the marginalized.
She's reported on abortion activists, transgender employment discrimination, Syrian refugees, DACA recipients, and disabled veterans.
Heather’s produced high profile shoots with Malala Yousafzai, Hillary Clinton, Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, Ashley Judd, and Millie Bobby Brown.
Currently, she works at Redglass Pictures and teaches various workshops at DCTV. Previously, Heather was the Senior Video Producer and interim EP at Teen Vogue, the Video Production Manager at Bustle, and a Video Reporter at Mashable.
Heather holds a Masters in Journalism from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, where she was awarded a Tow-Knight Fellowship in Entrepreneurial Journalism in 2014.
Having trained as a video journalist, Heather’s worked in all facets of video production, and is comfortable both behind the camera and on-screen. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, photography, and gardening.
